going away party in our honor!!!

it just tickled me PINK that grandma and auntie bought these high chairs for the great grand babies. it means a lot thank you!

chloe and her great grandpa lewis......it seems like just yesterday when i watch my grandpa in his work room paint my first bike, the prettiest sky blue. i believe i was around five when we lived in california with my grandma and grandpa lewis. i can still remember the smell of wood, car parts, geese, paint, tools and glue in his work room, i loved the smell. he was always working on a project or fixing something for someone. even after being washed, his hands would be stained from working on something. i loved the time we lived with them, what kid wouldn't want to live with their grandparents. in my mind i won the lottery, it was a fun extended slumber party, i even got to eat breakfast with my grandpa ( he would have bread in a bowl of milk. one time i remember taking a bite when he was away from his bowl but decided that, that was for grandpa's and honey nut Cheerios were for kids like me) he had a beautiful garden, i especially loved helping him eat..... i mean pick raspberries and id find a snail along the way( i was fascinated with those slime balls.) for as long as i can remember my grandpa always drove a Mercedes Benz with a classy hat, i truly believed that he was the owner of Mercedes. i also believed he would some day be called to be the prophet. i thought to myself...... if heavenly father knows my grandpa like i do, he'll for sure call him....too this day the kid in me still believes it to be true. i continue to see his quiet acts of service, he has served his country, his family and our family genealogy throughout his life and that's the biggest gift he can give his loved ones around him. i love you, my humble grandpa! thank you for your simple but magnificent example!

i know she's my brothers soul mate but i have such a strong connection to this beautiful soul, i know we were dear friends before this life. we first met at a outdoor theater, i believe it was tyson's first blind date with her. i was at the movie with my girls lookin young and beautiful workin my moe joe when out popped my brother with this chick. he looked like a kid in the candy store with the giddiest smile on his face and said "doesn't she look like brooke woolstenhulme" (now, brooke was my best friend my partner in crime from when we were born) i replied with a tonality...... who is this girl with my big brother........ "NO" when truly she slightly does remind me of brookish. now keep in mind my big brother never brought girls around. he even made it a goal to wait after his mission to kiss a girl . so i was a bit protective of him and his relating this girl to my best friend in the whole world. six years have past and i can't believe how much i and my whole family has benefited from having her in our family...she's just a beam of light she's shiny, shiny. she serves in ways that you know she's living out her gift from god. she's so funny and would do anything for you at a drop of a hat. most importantly she puts my brother first and devotes herself and time to her beautiful busy girls. i love you calli your my go too girl!!

grandma's homemade grape juice, we deluded it and hers went to town on it.

tybear and tanner having fun with chloers and hopey

clo and i with hers great grandma lewis......GRANDMA.....for as long as i can remember she has always been a ball of energy. i can't recall a time when she's looked tired, even after the huge memorable dinners she's put on for all of us. every time when they visited us in utah, i new that my friend brooke and i could get her to play red light green light and red rover red rover. for that i was the talk of my whole street....id announce my grandma lewis was coming and next thing i new the neighborhood chick lings were in my backyard expecting my energetic grandma to play games. i don't know why but i remember thinking she had the most beautiful robes that she'd wear in the morning while making breakfast, i vividly recall a fuscia pink one. along with her visits she'd always have a big bag of jelly beans, i just adore that memory. iv watched her bless me and others, i remember when i was in high school and she welcomed a whole family to live in their home. it was a big one, i think a family of 13? although iv never been one to want to share my grandma and she has always treated others as her own. i desire to bless others the way she has. thank you grandma for being a strong woman with a strong testimony of gospel. thank you for showing me to love others with open arms, i love you!

grandma made the most delectable homemade doughnuts for dessert and we got to take what was left home....thank you it was such a treat!!!

in the end we couldn't have asked for a better time with the ones we love!!! thank you aunt daynia( thank you for your example of putting up with unca D.....no but really i just love you to pieces!) unca deon(he's the one who gave me my nick name from when i was a baby "reebee" iv always been proud of that it was from him. who would of thought id some day truly become charee-b!!) allyssa, blake(it was so sweet of you to come, even though it was on a social sat. night) and david......you've taught me sooo much! buddy! kristen .....your such happy fun cousin and a good new mama! baby david....thank you fro cuddling with me i rarely get that with my ball of energy girl, it meant allot! tyson, calli, bean and esperanza. last but not least my dear mom and dad and the ones who made possible darling antie( i only have one auntie with a tender heart like hers. she's always been there for me and has guided me by example. it's safe to say that all of us see you as our 3rd parent.) and grandma and grandpa!!!
THANKYOU ALL!!! we missed all who couldn't make it! love you so much devon, kylee, chels, scotty, cameron, casey, john, kimmy and tandy.

Charee, Tanner and princess girl,
I can't stop the tears....you write so sweetly, genuinely, and the tributes are beyond precious...an exact mirror of your soul. I missed you three munchkins at dinner, laughing with us and making a memory. But we have all of eternity to still create memories, it's just for a while that they'll be distanced. Send me an address through email. I have a letter I want to write to you. lovingly, your auntie
