grandma's back!!!

dorthy lew bracken finished serving an honorable spanish speaking mission in puerto rico and then the other half in houston texas mission, this was her 3rd mission served. her first mission was supporting grandpa bracken while he served, the 2nd mission she had the opportunity to serve with her sweetheart and soul mate grandpa, in the germany mission and last but not least she served her 3rd bravely and on her own. grandma thank you for sharing your mission experiences with all of us sunday night. the spirit was strongly there and it was neat to think all of your kids and most of there children were there to listen and witness your testimony of the gospel. i felt so proud to be apart of this family and honored to be there. thank you grandma for your example and your example of constant conversion. i love you!!!

our attempt to get all the chillins in a picture and this was the best one.

as far as i know, it's unheard of for a whole family with their families and their kids families to all get together for a family picture, we are all so fortunate!

someone, meaning one of the ladies said....." you guys should tuck in your shirts like grandpa" so they untucked his shirt instead. it was a good laugh! thank you grandma and grandpa for having our little family be apart of this once in a lifetime occasion it was a honor and a blessing to be apart of. i love our family and feel so blessed for all the love we received from all of you thank you and we love you so much!!

a few days ago i noticed down the street from us, this darling little metal car in our neighbors garage and thought to myself... i need to do my research on the net and try to find something similar. just last night tanner and i past the house and saw she was in her garage. tanner looked at me saying... i should ask where she found that!!?? we rolled down the window and ask. she walks towards us and says with this darling southern accent (i think?) and a darling a line cut with silver hair but she's one of those beauty's that are young and classy with a beautiful face (iv always hoped to pull that off some day!!). she then replies.... im looking to get rid of it, you know you can have it my daughter ava has out grown it and im cleaning out my garage, you can have it. i thought i was dreaming and of coarse we said....no, we can't just take it....she then insisted kindly, no really take it! when we pulled up to our drive way i squealed like a little piggy, i was so excited!!! it was hard to get chloe to bed last night, she was white knuckling the steering wheel she lovens it!!!

he was a 9 pounder good job mama!!! my hats off to you rachel!!

chloe and i were hoping that he would come while we were in utah but this little sir decided to be a 2009 boy. it's so neat seeing brothers enter into fatherhood together. their conversations will go from football and basketball to the coolest strollers and the latest teaching methods. this little boy is lucky, he has great, loving parents! we love you and welcome, welcome, can't wait to hold you!
